But that doesn’t mean I didn’t just spend a weekend full of flashing cameras and parents/relatives waving their giant arms towards their kids. It’s all about control and it first begins with you (cuz for sure your parents are going to be really excited anyways).
Arriving at convocation was always looking at friends… waiting in line to get in… getting your own and sitting properly~ It took us 700+ engineers to be an hour to settle in.~
First speech was done by William M. Tathem, a man who helped contribute to the development of the co-op building, as well as the head of NexJ Systems, he made a speech about what systems design was really about. It included a few statements that made me feel proud of what I wanted to do… and it goes something like this:
Systems design is about the human behaviour in the use of products. It’s methods and implementation plans dedicated to meet specific requirements. Taking into effect user as the centre of design and psychology of the mind that got him involved with his company NexJ Systems. <– hey look, career placement opportunity XD
The valedictorian speech was great. Talked about ‘rise of PDEng… and fall of PDEng’. The two things within five years that I have dreaded XD Procrastination and design projects to worry about… etc. The concession then continued like normal and after two hours, a degree received… it was time to march out for more photos with parents and friends.
Kira swung by! He helped take photos. Kokiase came by with gifts (and tea bags for next Friday as I will bring them and have others enjoy the awesome vacuum sealed tea bags). Bluemage and Zyonlik also graduated with me and we met to take photos. All photos will not be available for your pleasure as they contain my face, it’s almost 2AM and I need shut eye for Father’s Day XD Instead, you get blurry….
K-AL came by to give me flowers!… she actually tried to hide the fact she wanted to keep this for a surprise, but instead it got leaked out after I got worried of her yesterday night. Sorry your work didn’t pay off. My Sherlock powers has outwitted your ability to keep things covert XD.
The end of Saturday leaves me with a decorated flower pot filled with water.
And now back to reality and finding a job… The next big one is 24th of June at North York Civic Centre’s Canada Job Expo!!

Gratz on graduation!
Now officially bum at home looking for work… during that time… #funemployed! Gotta make them youtube vids and get millions of views xD Jokes
